Movie introduction and plot

The movie begins with a confrontation between the FBI and Jang Myung-joon (Jin Sun-kyu). The FBI’s Jack (Daniel Henney), who tracked Jang for a long time and arrested him safely, had a light war of nerves with Lim Chul-ryeong (Hyun Bin) who was trying to take Jang to North Korea. While transporting Jang Myung-joon after a war of nerves, Jang Myung-joon’s colleagues appeared and rescued Jang Myung-joon. Upon hearing that he had fled to the South, Lim Cheol-ryeong came back to the South for cooperation with the South to catch him. Detective Kang Jin-tae (Yoo Hae-ji), who was aiming for the return of the Kwangsoo unit, showed his performance through cooperation when the scientific investigation team showed no vision, and the cooperation between the two began again. They, who are working as a team again after a long time, seemed to cooperate and investigate because they knew each other more than before, but there were still parts where they did not trust each other, so they deceived each other as if they were helping each other and carried out a close investigation. Meanwhile, Jack of the FBI was also dispatched to Korea to catch Jang Myung-jun, and through their respective information networks, they headed to all suspected sites of Jang Myung-jun, but failed to write because of Jang Myung-jun’s trap, and the three detectives decided to cooperate. This time, Lim Cheol-ryeong, who went to a money-laundering club, not two, and drove Jang to the corner with three people’s cooperation, but put more importance on taking Jang Myung-joon and $1 billion USB to the north than their cooperation, succeeded in taking Jang and $1 billion alone.

Lim Cheol-ryeong handed over Jang Myung-joon and $1 billion to former North Korean executive Bae-soo, and during this process, Lim Cheol-ryeong realized that Jeon Bae-soo was also behind it. Jack was also attacked just as he was about to return home, and Jack, who handled the attacker safely, realizes that his boss is part of the background. After confirming that Kang Jin-tae’s family was on the person’s cell phone, he headed to Kang Jin-tae’s house and saved Kang Jin-tae’s family. Embracing the illusion that he got everything, Jeon opened the USB to get $1 billion, and at that moment, all of it was withdrawn and $1 billion disappeared. Jang Myung-joon, who used a reverse kill USB, was caught and approached under all plans, and he killed Jeon Bae-soo to avenge his family. Jang Myung-joon, who thought South Korea was also responsible for the death of his family, prepared all the devices to spread poison gas, and Lim Cheol-ryeong stopped it, but threw the key to the only machine that could stop the poison gas bomb far away. However, Jack brought the key back with the drone, and the movie had a happy ending with the bomb stop.

Individual reviews and responses

Personally, to tell you the conclusion, I enjoyed watching it. The movie itself was a great killing time and a great movie to watch on a holiday that wasn’t too heavy. I think the Chuseok release was a great timing. Certainly, the scale was bigger than the first one, and the small gag elements that followed the first one increased the intimacy with the characters in the play, giving them more fun than the first one. He seemed to have paid enough attention to the action, and I even had expectations that he could make a big series if he did well as he is. One hope and regrettable thing is that there are enough elements to be a long-term series, but there is a strong sense of short-term. As the series is very precious to watch in Korea, I thought it could be a good series in a different sense from the criminal city. But I think Daniel Henney, the FBI card, was taken out too quickly. It would have been very nice if it was fun to build the charm of characters such as “Running in Anger,” but I don’t think I thought about it because of the nature of Korean movies. I sometimes feel like it’s lagging because I made too many jokes in the second episode compared to the first one, but if you’re not watching it for serious reviews, the second one was fun enough and I think the third one could come out well.

If you haven’t watched the first episode, I recommend you watch the first episode and watch the second episode. Part 2 and Part 1 are quite closely linked, so the fun can be halved. I don’t think there are many movies that are this easy and fun to watch for killing time or with your family. If you haven’t watched it yet, make sure to watch it!
