Movie introduction and plot

The 20th Century Girl is a youth melodrama by Netflix Original. Running time is 119 minutes, about 2 hours, and it was released on October 21, 22. The beginning of the movie was when modern Bora (Han Hyo-joo) received a package (video tape) and began recalling the past. In the past, Bora (Kim Yoo-jung) and Yeon-doo (Roh Yoon-seo) were best friends, but Yeon-doo confessed that she fell in love with a man. However, Yeon-doo had to go to the U.S. for heart surgery due to a bad heart, so she asked her best friend Bora to investigate Baek Hyun-jin so that she could get along with a man named Baek Hyun-jin. That’s how they created an email account and started Baek Hyun-jin’s To investigate Baek Hyun-jin, he pretended to be a research institution on a public phone and called his house, and Un-ho, who answered the phone, noticed that the caller was watching. I’ll give you Unho’s information, and Unho, who knew that Bora’s house was a video store house, asked for a video and was embarrassed during this process, but he succeeded in getting the beeper number. To find out more about Baek Hyun-jin, Bora supports the broadcasting team after hearing that Baek Hyun-jin supports the broadcasting team, but funnyly, Baek Hyun-jin abstains and enters the broadcasting team without Baek Hyun-jin. However, because there was Hyunjin’s friend Unho there, he gets more information about Baek Hyunjin through Unho. While looking for a way to get close to Baek Hyun-jin, Bo-ra saved Un-ho, who had a fight, with a kick, and beyond getting close, she received Baek Hyun-jin’s rational attention. I was trying to get close for Yeon-du, but in reality, Bora, who had a heart for Un-ho, became closer to Un-ho and eventually developed into a relationship. Then one day, Yeon-doo returned to Korea safely and heard the good news that she had completed heart surgery safely, but unfortunately, the person Hyun-jin Yeon-doo thought was actually Un-ho, not Baek Hyun-jin.

Bora, who suddenly fell in love with her friend’s crush, decided to fold her mind and began to go against luck. Bo-ra, who was trying to connect Yeon-du with Un-ho while going against Un-ho, left the two and went on a roller coaster with Hyun-jin. At that time, Unho also had a fear of heights, but he came to ride a roller coaster to be with Bora and conveyed his feelings, but Bora didn’t accept it. Yeon-doo, who realized that the two of them had feelings for each other, expressed her upset feelings to Bora and misunderstood, but after checking the mail they sent to each other in the past, she realized that Bora’s sincerity was not intentional. So Yeon-du cheered for Bora to hurry up and go see her before Un-ho goes to New Zealand, and eventually Bora and Un-ho meet just before leaving the train station. We had time to check each other’s feelings, but Unho, who had to go right away, left for New Zealand with the words that he would definitely return. For a while, they exchanged e-mails and waited for the day to meet soon. Then one day, there was no contact from Unho, and Bora, who had been waiting for years, eventually decided to forget Unho. The time changed back to the modern background, and modern Bora (Han Hyo-joo) participated in an exhibition on a package she received before and found out that it was an exhibition held by Unho’s brother, and even Unho couldn’t contact him because Unho died. The movie ends with the memories taken by Bora Unho, who returns home and plays the package she received, and Unho, who tells Bora that he wants to see it at the end.

Individual reviews

Personally, I don’t really watch youth melo, but I watched it once because it was number one on Netflix’s movie recommendation list. I thought it was a light topic for the first time in a while, so I was a little surprised to find out about Unho’s death. It was a work that gave a deeper impression than I thought, and in fact, it was a story that everyone could have had except for Unho’s death, so I thought it became the number one recommendation on Netflix. As the word comes to mind that there is no first love that comes true, everyone will have such an unforgettable moment of love, and I think it was a movie that focused on that. Although I wrote all the contents above, if you have an emotional day where you want to feel the detailed emotional lines or miss someone, I highly recommend a 20th century girl.
